Historic Preservation

Historic Preservation

We are a recognized leader in historic preservation planning, cultural landscape assessment and cultural resource management in Hawai‘i. HHF has conducted Preservation Plans, Cultural Resource Management Plans, Cultural Landscape Reports, and Historic American Landscapes Surveys for both public- and private-sector clients. Our team of Secretary of Interior certified historians, historical landscape architects, and preservation planners collaborates to ensure a holistic approach to planning and development within a cultural landscape. We understand that historic preservation often holds different meanings and values for each organization, community and individual. However, the long-term objective is shared: to protect assets of cultural and historical significance within changing landscapes so that these special places can be appreciated and cared for by current and future generations.
